Membership forms for 2014 will be mailed soon from the Central Registry. Again, fees for 2014 will be payable until September 1, 2014. Fees for 2014 for Inverness South remain the same: $100 + HST = $115.00.

Important Reminder! - All membership fees must be paid before September 1, 2012 to avoid being considered in contravention of the act and fined up to $1,000. In addition your name could be left off the member list for 2013. Please ensure you send in your payment before the September 1, 2013 deadline if you have not already done so. Also, please spread the word regarding this as many members still have not paid and risk being fined.
Effective April 1, 2013.
As of April 1, 2013, Inverness South and all other fisher associations will no longer be collecting membership fees. All fees will now be paid to the new DFO central registry. This central registry will then distribute collected fees to the appropriate association(s).
Therefore, in order to pay membership fees for 2013, all fishers must:
1. Complete the Registry form you will receive from DFO in the mail. Be sure to clearly mark the association(s) you wish to join/renew with for 2013 (ie. Inverness South). If you require assistance with the form, please contact us.
2. Choose your payment method - they accept cheques and money orders made payable to the Minister of Finance.
3. Enclose your payment with your completed form and mail to the address on the registry form.
Once the registry receives your payment and information, they will record it and forward it to the association(s) of your choice.
You may send your payments to the registry from April 1, 2013 to September 1, 2013.
Note: All payments for 2013 must be received by September 1, 2013!
