2013 Crab Quota.
The 2013 Crab Quota of 88,285 lbs was caught over a period from June 13 to June 27, 2013.
Crab Quota allocation guidelines for 2013:
1. Date - a member of the respective association as of Dec. 31, 2012.
2. Buyout - eligible as long as a core licence is held as of Dec. 31, 2012.
3. Those individuals who belong to multiple groups, groups will share proportionally.
4. Individuals who do not belong to an accredited multi species group are not counted.
5. Core / Independent Core - Both eligible for 2013.
6. Snow Crab
a. Those who held a snow crab licence between Dec. 31, 2005 and Dec. 31, 2012, are not eligible.
7. Sharing - 100% of the allocation to be shared proportionally based on association memberships.
