April 27th: Crab Tender Results: The Crab Tender results for 2017 are as follows:

7 tenders were offered ranging in price from 59 cents to $1.25.
The three lowest bidders all agreed to fish the quota at 59 cents.

The three winners are:
John L. MacKinnon
Grant Cameron
Eugene Beaton

Congratulations to the winners!

The 2017 Crab Tender Meeting will be held on Thursday, April 27th at 6:30pm at the Mabou Parish Hall
.

Below find links to the forms regarding the 2017 crab tender.

If you wish to submit a tender, the completed form must be received either by mail or handed in personally by the beginning of the meeting at 6:30pm on Thursday, April 27th, 2017. Tenders that arrive by mail after this date, or are not handed in at the beginning of the meeting,
will not be considered. Any tender received by mail will remain SEALED until the meeting on April 27th, where it will be opened and combined with those that are delivered personally to the meeting.

All tenders will be considered, with the lowest bid winning the right to fish the first license. As our quota is divided between 3 licenses, the second lowest bidder will be offered the chance to fish the second license
at the lowest bid price. If they decline, the third lowest bidder will be offered the chance and so on until someone agrees to fish the second license at the lowest bid price. The same will be repeated for the third license.

If there are multiple bids that tie for lowest bid, the names will be placed in a hat and a draw will determine the winners.
